Where is my family's information kept?
In your own iCloud account, through Apple's CloudKit, and on your devices. Familome has no servers and no account with us, and Bald.studio has no access to your iCloud data. The details are in the privacy policy.
How do I add my partner or other caregivers?
Open Family and tap Invite someone. You send an iCloud invitation; the person needs an Apple Account and Familome on their iPhone or iPad.
Choose what they can do: parents can log and edit everything, caregivers can log and delete only their own entries, and viewers can look but not log.
I installed Familome on another iPhone or iPad. Where's my family?
On a device signed in to the same Apple Account, Familome first looks for your family in iCloud and shows "Looking for your family" for a few seconds. Make sure the device is online and that iCloud is on for Familome in Settings › your name › iCloud.
If you're a partner or caregiver, accept the invitation instead: your own Apple Account doesn't have the family until someone shares it with you.
Why a nap window and not a nap time?
The window is an estimate from your baby's own last seven days of sleep. It's there to help you plan, not to tell you what your baby should do.
Is Familome medical advice?
No. Familome records what you enter and shows information from public health bodies with its source. It doesn't diagnose, suggest doses or decide when to seek care. If you're worried about your baby or your pregnancy, contact your doctor, midwife or local emergency number.
How do I export or delete my data?
Open Family › Data & privacy. Export as CSV or JSON works at any time, with or without Familome Plus, and you can also export your photos and videos.
Delete everything removes the family from your devices. If you created the family, it is also deleted from iCloud for everyone it's shared with; if you joined someone else's family, you leave it and their log stays with them.
What does Familome Plus include, and how do I cancel?
Plus adds unlimited photo and video storage in memories, extra sound packs, and photo frames and monthly templates. One subscription covers the whole family. It starts with a 14-day free trial, and the app reminds you three days before the trial ends.
Cancel at any time in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Your logs and everything free stay as they are.
Does voice logging send my voice anywhere?
No. While you hold the Orb, speech is turned into text on your device and drafted into entries for you to check. The audio isn't kept or sent.
Can I pause pregnancy content?
Yes. In Family during pregnancy, choose Something's changed. Every pregnancy screen, reminder and widget pauses until you resume. A note you write there stays on that iPhone only and is never synced.
